Dave Juday, Aimpoint Research Executive Advisor

Aimpoint Research welcomes Dave Juday as a member of its Executive Advisory Group. Founder and principal of The Juday Group, Dave brings expertise in market analysis, policy, economics, issue management, agriculture, and food. In his role as Executive Advisor on Economics and Trade, Dave will work with select clients on custom projects and contribute to Aimpoint Research’s thought leadership platforms and intelligence services, including the Executive Intelligence Network.

“Aimpoint Research has amazing talent and brings a singularly unique perspective based on military intelligence approach to the industry and clients,” said Dave. “I’m honored to have the opportunity to work with them and lend my experience to the team. At the same time, I know I will learn from them and be able to serve the industry more broadly. Food security is national security and it’s a great feeling to be a part of that mission.”

Dave started his career in the U.S. Senate as an aide and Task Force Investigator for the U.S. Senate Committee on the Budget. He later served in the White House in the Office of the Vice President as Deputy Director of Domestic Policy and staff member for the Council on Competitiveness, a Cabinet-level working group tasked with reviewing federal regulations to ensure U.S. economic competitiveness. He has also held an appointment as an adjunct fellow with the Hudson Institute’s Center for Global Food Issues.

In addition to his work with a broad range of profit and non-profit organizations in agriculture, Dave has also managed ad hoc industry coalitions in the forest products industry and assisted State Departments of Agriculture on international trade strategies and evaluations. He is particularly skilled at market assessment and policy risks to business models.

“Dave will be a tremendous asset for the entire Aimpoint team and our partners,” said Mark Purdy, Aimpoint Research Chief Operations Officer. “His knowledge and expertise of global dynamics, markets, and economics is exceptional and will bring value to the clients we serve across the value chain.”
