Mark Schweitzer, Aimpoint Research Executive Advisor

Aimpoint Research welcomes Mark Schweitzer as a member of its Executive Advisory Group. Schweitzer is the retired Vice President, Global Economic Research, at ADM, bringing global executive experience and exceptional business acumen to the team. In his role as an Executive Advisor, Schweitzer will consult with select clients on custom projects and contribute to Aimpoint’s thought leadership platforms, intelligence services, and business development strategy.

“I am honored to join Aimpoint Research,” said Schweitzer. “Their global strategic intelligence lens of what the future will look like, combined with their holistic focus on the customer experience parallels my principles and practices.”

During his tenure at ADM, Schweitzer led a diverse team of global analysts to provide ADM colleagues with timely and accurate proprietary research that underpinned ADM’s grain and oilseed strategies and international marketing efforts. Previously at ADM, Schweitzer was Vice President of Investor Relations. In that role, he oversaw and built strong relationships with ADM’s investor community and facilitated investors’ understanding of ADM’s many global businesses and the company’s algorithm for value creation.

The future of agriculture and helping develop the next diverse and inclusive generation of leaders is one of Schweitzer’s passions. His commitment to this passion led him to serve on the National FFA Sponsors Board for a 3-year term in 2013, followed by a year as chair-elect. In 2017, Schweitzer chaired the National FFA Foundation Sponsors Board and served on the Board of Trustees and its Finance Committee. In 2020, he joined FFA’s President Advisory Council. He continues to support and promote the next generation in agriculture.

“We are thrilled and honored to have Mark on the team,” said Mark Purdy, Aimpoint Research Chief Operations Officer. “Mark’s one of the best in global business and trade, but what makes him exceptional is his passion for agriculture and ability to translate those strategic dynamics to on-farm implications and consumer impacts. I’m super excited for our team and our clients.”
